The Coven, the company behind Terrifier 2, is now handling sales for the all-female anthology film Give Me An A, renamed Objection for the Cannes market. The movie, created by Natasha Halevi, consists of 16 segments directed by different female filmmakers. It explores themes such as reproductive rights, women’s rights, mental health, and human rights.
The cast includes notable actors like Alyssa Milano, Virginia Madsen, Gina Torres, Milana Vayntrub, Jennifer Holland, Sean Gunn, Molly C. Quinn, Jason George, and Jackie Tohn.

Principal photography for the film started in July 2022, shortly after the Supreme Court ruling on June 24, 2022. It had its first screening at Fantastic Fest 2022, where it received awards and positive feedback. The film’s international screening took place in Brazil at Fantaspoa, a renowned genre film festival.
The response from the Brazilian audience highlighted the global significance of the film. Halevi expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and emphasized that the film resonates with people worldwide, not just in America.

Priscilla Ross Smith, co-head of The Coven, emphasized the importance of women supporting women in both art and life, making it a perfect partnership for the company. Fractal Clouds Productions served as the lead producer, with an all-female team including Giselle Gilbert, Jordan Crucchiola, Jonna Jackson, Jessica Taylor Galmor, Stephanie Williams, and Charlene Fitzgibbon.
Each segment of the film is directed by Natasha Halevi, Meg Swertlow, Bonnie Discepolo, Danin Jacquay, Erica Mary Wright, Monica Moore-Suriyage, Sarah Kopkin, Caitlin Hargraves, Megan Rosati, Hannah Alline, Avital Ash, Mary C. Russell, Valerie Finkel, Kelly Nygaard, Loren Escandón, and Francesca Maldonado. The film also features additional writers.
In addition to their success with Terrifier 2, The Coven has other horror-focused projects, including She’s Not Gone, starring Angela Sarafyan and Shohreh Aghdashloo, which will also be launched at the Cannes market.
