In an interview with ComicBook.com, Soni reassured fans that Deadpool 3 will be in line with the previous two films in terms of its edgy content. He mentioned that he has already started working on the project and described it as “hard R,” indicating that it will feature the same level of adult-oriented humor and action.

Soni did note one difference in his experience with Deadpool 3 compared to the previous films. When news broke that Deadpool would be integrated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) following Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox, some fans expressed concerns that the franchise’s signature R-rated style would be toned down to cater to a younger audience. However, the cast and crew of Deadpool 3 have consistently emphasized that the film will stay true to its roots and deliver the same irreverent and mature content that fans love. This will make Deadpool 3 the first R-rated entry in the MCU.

The upcoming film will see Ryan Reynolds reprising his role as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, the wise-cracking and irreverent anti-hero. Reynolds will be joined by other familiar faces from the X-Men franchise, including Hugh Jackman, who will be returning as Wolverine.
