Dylan Dreyer, known for her role as a broadcast journalist on the popular morning show Today, has added children’s book author to her list of accomplishments. Following the success of her debut children’s book, Misty the Cloud: A Very Stormy Day, Dylan recently took to Instagram to announce the upcoming release of the third installment in the series, Misty the Cloud: Fun Is in the Air.
Excitement filled the air as Dylan unboxed the new book alongside her oldest son, Calvin, and shared the news of its release on May 2. But that’s not all – in addition to being a new addition to her literary empire, Misty the Cloud: Fun Is in the Air will also be part of Penguin Random House’s bestselling Step Into Reading program.

Sharing her enthusiasm on April 12, Dylan wrote, “IT’S HERE!!! We’re continuing our Misty the Cloud series…this time with a level 2 Step Into Reading! I’m so beyond proud as we’ve worked the science right into this book. And hearing Calvin read it himself is music to my ears! I hope you’ll check it out along with all our Misty books!!”
Fans of the Today show wasted no time flooding Dylan’s Instagram comments with congratulatory messages and words of support for her latest venture into the world of children’s literature.
