Haley Pullos, known for her role in the TV show “General Hospital,” has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving. The 24-year-old actress was involved in a car accident on a freeway in Pasadena, California.
According to a police report obtained by TMZ, Pullos was driving on the freeway on April 29 when she allegedly swerved and crashed into another car traveling in the opposite direction at a speed of around 60 miles per hour. The driver of the other car survived the collision but was hospitalized with serious injuries.
Firefighters had to rescue Pullos from her vehicle, and she was then placed in an ambulance. It is alleged that Pullos became aggressive and struck a firefighter who was assessing her injuries. She also reportedly made an inappropriate comment about her shirt, shouting, “This is a $400 f— shirt!”
Pullos was later arrested at the hospital. TMZ reports that she had become hostile and violent towards healthcare workers, leading to her sedation. The police report indicated that Pullos had the smell of alcohol on her breath and slurred speech. Additionally, edible cannabis products and mini-bottles of tequila were allegedly found in her car.
TMZ also mentioned that Pullos was involved in a hit-and-run incident before the freeway accident occurred.
Recently, Soap Opera Digest announced that Pullos’ character, Molly Lansing-Davis, on “General Hospital” would be temporarily recast while the actress is on medical leave. Starting from the following week, Holiday Mia Kriegel will step in as a replacement.
In a statement to Soap Opera Digest, Pullos acknowledged the automobile accident and stated that she would need some time to recover. She assured fans that she would return to the show as soon as possible.
As of now, there has been no immediate response from Pullos or the representatives of “General Hospital” regarding the incident.
