Kim Kardashian Reveals Kanye West’s Request to Burn His Belongings After Finalizing Divorce on ‘The Kardashians’

In a recent episode of “The Kardashians,” Kim Kardashian, the mother of four, bid farewell to a significant chapter in her life as she dealt with the finalization of her divorce from Kanye West. The emotional episode captured Kim cleaning out one of Kanye’s storage units on the very day their divorce was officially settled.

Kim opened up about being a “memory hoarder” and her desire to keep mementos of the Kanye she knew during their time together. She shared that Kanye had a total of 32 storage units, but she managed to reduce them to just three. As the divorce proceedings unfolded, Kanye handed over the remaining units to Kim with the intention of burning his possessions. However, Kim decided to keep some items, particularly those that held sentimental value for their children.

The former couple shares four children together: daughters North, aged 10, and Chicago, aged 5, and sons Saint, aged 7, and Psalm, aged 4. Although life had changed drastically, she believed these memories would be a beautiful tribute to their kids.

Kim even envisioned creative ways her children could use Kanye’s old Yeezy products. She imagined North having an epic “merch table” at her Sweet 16 birthday celebration. It was evident that Kim deeply cherished the memories they had created together.

The divorce process began when Kim filed for divorce from Kanye in February 2021. After a year and a half, the divorce was officially finalized in November 2022.
