Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding’s song “Miracle” continues its reign at No. 1 in the UK for the seventh non-consecutive week. The catchy throwback rave number has become Harris’ second-longest reigning single in his homeland, surpassing the six-week streaks of his previous hits “We Found Love” with Rihanna and “Promises” with Sam Smith. With just one more week at the top, “Miracle” will equal his longest chart reign of eight weeks with “One Kiss” featuring Dua Lipa.

The seven-week dominance of “Miracle” has also propelled Ellie Goulding up the ranks of all-time chart-toppers. Joining the likes of Cher with “Believe” and the Spice Girls with “Wannabe,” Goulding adds her name to the list of female acts who have enjoyed seven weeks at No. 1 in the UK.

In a chart miracle of her own, Lana Del Rey makes an impressive debut with her song “Say Yes To Heaven” at No. 9. Originally recorded in 2012, the somber tune failed to secure a spot on any of Del Rey’s albums. However, it recently gained attention after being leaked and finding its own journey on TikTok. This marks Del Rey’s sixth top 10 appearance and her first solo entry in the UK top tier since “Born To Die” reached No. 9 in 2012.

Even after the conclusion of Eurovision 2023, three songs from the annual song festival continue to make waves on the UK chart. Loreen, the winner from Sweden, sees her song “Tattoo” dip from No. 2 to No. 4. Finland’s Käärijä’s “Cha Cha Cha” falls from No. 6 to No. 15, and Great Britain’s representative Mae Muller’s “I Wrote A Song” drops from No. 9 to No. 18. “Tattoo” also makes history by becoming the first Eurovision entry in 27 years to spend two consecutive weeks in the UK’s Official Singles Chart top 5.

Additionally, Kylie Minogue, the pop princess from Australia, achieves her 52nd top 40 hit in the UK with “Padam Padam.” The electro-pop tune debuts at No. 26 on the chart, marking Minogue’s highest-charting song in her adopted homeland since “Into The Blue” reached No. 12 in 2014. “Padam Padam” also secures the top spot on the Official Singles Sales Chart and the Download Chart, making it the most downloaded song of the week in the UK.

With Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding’s continued success, Lana Del Rey’s impressive debut, the lasting impact of Eurovision songs, and Kylie Minogue’s latest achievement, the UK music charts continue to showcase a diverse range of talented artists and their chart-topping hits.
