Matt revealed that he had to kiss Scarlett in the film, and he humorously expressed how terrible the experience was for him. He explained that they had filmed a shot before lunch that ended in a kiss, and it went really well. However, after their lunch break, when they resumed shooting the kissing scene, Scarlett confessed that she had eaten an onion sandwich for lunch. Both Matt and Scarlett thought the kissing scene was over, but it turned out they had to redo it after the lunch break.

With the camera set up for a tight shot of the kiss, Scarlett realized her breath wasn’t as fresh as she would have liked, exclaiming, “Oh s**t. I literally just had an onion sandwich. I thought we did this,” Matt teasingly remarked to Scarlett about her breath. However, he was quick to clarify that her breath typically smells like roses.

Despite the onion sandwich mishap, Matt fondly spoke of Scarlett and emphasized that she typically smells great. The funny incident added a unique touch to their on-screen chemistry and became an unforgettable moment in their filmmaking journey.
