Lena Dunham, a talented writer and director, is on board to write and direct the film.

Dunham shared some insights into the story, hinting at the fun elements of what happens when a tiny person encounters a big world. She wants to stay true to the original ’90s tiny Polly Pocket size, albeit slightly bigger for safety reasons.

However, the movie’s release date remains uncertain due to ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes in Hollywood. The second draft of the script was completed in October 2022, but filming might not start until later this year, depending on the resolution of the strikes.
