Subsequently, they had to cancel the last two dates of their Gloria tour stops in the U.K. In the video, Smith expressed their gratitude for the positive news and reassured fans that they are on the path to recovery.

The singer explained that during the Manchester show, they noticed something was wrong with their voice during the third song. Despite hoping it was just a temporary issue, they realized that something more serious was happening by the fourth song. Smith made the difficult decision to come off stage, as they didn’t want to risk causing permanent damage to their voice.
Smith expressed their disappointment in not being able to finish the show and apologized to their fans for the unexpected interruption. They emphasized that the situation was completely out of their control and expressed their gratitude for the support they have received during this challenging time.
