Shannen Doherty, famous for her role in “Beverly Hills, 90210,” shared heartbreaking news about her ongoing battle with cancer. In a recent Instagram post, she revealed that her Stage 4 cancer has spread to her brain.
Doherty had previously disclosed her cancer diagnosis in 2020, years after completing treatment for breast cancer. However, the recent CT scan showed that the cancer had metastasized to her brain. In the post, she shared a video of herself getting fitted for a radiation mask, which is necessary for the treatment targeting her brain.

The news drew support from fellow celebrities. Amidst her health struggles, Doherty also faced personal challenges. She recently filed for divorce from her husband of 11 years, Kurt Iswarienko. Although divorce was not what she desired, she felt it was her only option. Her representative, Leslie Sloane, confirmed the divorce filing.
In her previous appearance on “Good Morning America” in 2020, Doherty disclosed that she had been privately battling cancer for the past year. At that time, she did not specify the type of cancer but mentioned it was a recurrence. The decision to go public with her diagnosis was influenced by a legal battle with State Farm over fire damage to her house caused by the 2018 Woolsey fire.
