The show, now in its 18th season, has been captivating audiences with its fresh auditions, but this special installment offered fans a chance to relive some of the most iconic moments from the past.
Simon Cowell’s picks for the Top 16 most memorable auditions were a mix of performers from both America’s Got Talent and Britain’s Got Talent. While most of his picks were from AGT, the top two spots on his list went to auditions from the British side of the pond. The list included acts like singers, dancers, magicians, a saxophonist, and even a comedy singer who loves parmesan cheese. The variety of acts showcased the diverse and unique talent that the show has discovered over the years.

During the episode, Cowell revealed that he had a tough time narrowing down his picks and decided to rank sixteen auditions instead of the usual fifteen. However, one golden buzzer that fans are eagerly awaiting is from Sofia Vergara, one of the judges in Season 18. Despite being moved to tears by a touching performance from two moms singing a Wicked song, Vergara has not yet hit her golden buzzer. Fans are curious to see which act she will choose to send straight to the live shows and are eagerly waiting for her moment.

America’s Got Talent Season 18 has already featured golden buzzers from other judges, including Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and Terry Crews. In the premiere episode, all four judges hit the golden buzzer for the Mzansi Youth Choir. However, Sofia Vergara has yet to press the coveted button, and fans can’t help but wonder who she has in mind.
