Sir Tom Jones Not Becoming a Hologram for Gigs Anytime Soon

Sir Tom Jones

Sir Tom Jones, the legendary 83-year-old singer, is back in the spotlight with a new tour, and he has no intentions of slowing down or becoming a hologram version of himself like Abba. In a recent interview, he expressed his hope that he is “nowhere near” being turned into a hologram for gigs, as he still enjoys performing live for his fans.

The idea of hologram tours, where deceased or aging artists are brought back to the stage through advanced technology, has been gaining popularity in the music industry. ABBA, the iconic Swedish pop group, introduced “Abbatars,” hologram versions of themselves, to perform their greatest hits on stage. However, Sir Tom Jones seems to have reservations about such a concept for himself.

He is one of the few artists who have achieved enduring success and popularity throughout the years.
