A person in France stole ten copies of Taylor Swift’s album “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” from a warehouse. The thief tried to sell the stolen copies online for 25 euros each, but then increased the price to 50 euros after selling two copies. This person was eventually caught when an MPO France employee reported them to the police. It turns out the thief had been convicted 24 times before and was sentenced to eight months in prison.
This incident marks the second time someone has attempted to steal Taylor Swift’s music. Previously, she was unable to purchase the rights to her own masters in 2019 when her albums were sold in a deal with Ithaca Holdings.
