Adele had a special condition before buying Sylvester Stallone’s house last year – she wanted to keep the iconic Rocky statue.

Sylvester Stallone, known for his role as Rocky Balboa in the legendary “Rocky” films, had a statue of the famous boxer overlooking the pool at his Los Angeles mansion. Stallone portrayed Rocky in multiple movies, including the 1976 original and the 2006 film “Rocky Balboa,” as well as the spinoff “Creed” franchise.

During an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Stallone was asked if he wanted to take the Rocky statue with him when he sold the house. Stallone admitted that he did, but Adele had different plans.

Stallone revealed that Adele said, “That’s a no deal. That would ruin the entire agreement,” Adele firmly stated, emphasizing her desire to keep the statue. Luckily, Stallone agreed to let it stay.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Adele purchased the house at a discounted price of $58 million. The British singer-songwriter, known for her powerful vocals and heartfelt ballads, had a successful career that allowed her to afford the luxury property and its iconic statue.

If you’re wondering how Adele is funding the purchase of Stallone’s former estate and the Rocky statue, earlier this year, she announced the extension of her residency at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.

Adele’s “Weekends With Adele” residency, which originally ran from November 18 to March 25, added 34 additional dates from June 16 to November 4. By extending her residency, Adele ensures that more fans have the opportunity to see her live performances.

During one of her shows in Las Vegas, Adele also shared exciting news with her audience. She revealed that the June performances would be recorded for a concert film, allowing fans who couldn’t attend the shows to experience her captivating performances from the comfort of their homes.

In a video captured by fans, Adele expressed her desire to provide a broader audience access to her show. She acknowledged that performing for 4,000 people over 34 nights is not enough and expressed her commitment to share the concert film so that anyone who wants to see the show can enjoy it.
