The TV show “Success” ends with a 90-minute episode on May 28. This last episode is directed by one of the executive producers of the show, Mark Mylod, and is described as movie-sized. Although not much is known about the episode, HBO has confirmed that they will not be creating spin-offs of the series.
Last season, Logan Roy, the father and patriarch of the Roy family, died suddenly. His two sons, Roman and Kendall, became CEOs of their company, while Shiv, their sister, was involved in decision-making. The potential sale of their business is also a major plot point, causing anxiety and division among Roy’s children as they wait to see what their lives will look like once the deal is done.
“Next” has already won two Emmys for Outstanding Drama Series and is considered a strong contender for this year’s awards. Actors Kieran Culkin and Jeremy Strong are favorites for leading actors, while Sarah Snook is nominated for the leading actress category for the first time. Nicholas Britell, the show’s composer, may also win an Emmy for his score.
The show premiered in 2018 and stars Brian Cox, Alan Ruck, Matthew Macfadyen, Nicholas Braun and J. Smith-Cameron.
