A WWE Hall of Famer thinks Matt Riddle hasn’t been as entertaining since he came back from his injury.
Bully Ray, a former wrestler, expressed his opinion about Riddle’s recent WWE performances. He mentioned that Riddle has been involved in different storylines with wrestlers like Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, and Drew McIntyre, but he hasn’t been able to connect with the audience as before.

During a discussion on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray said that Riddle used to be more entertaining when he was teamed up with Randy Orton. He emphasized how important Orton was to their partnership and how it contributed to Riddle’s popularity. Ray feels that the current pairings with other wrestlers haven’t matched the success they had together.
Another wrestling expert, Bill Apter, also shared his thoughts on the matter. He believes that when Randy Orton returns to WWE, he should reunite with Matt Riddle. Apter explained that Riddle is facing challenges due to an injured ankle, and having Orton by his side again could help him find his stride.

Orton and Riddle had an unusual but successful partnership in the past. They even won the RAW Team Championships before Orton got injured and had to take a break from wrestling.
With rumors of Orton’s imminent return, Apter believes that reuniting with Orton could greatly benefit Riddle and bring back the success they had together as a team. It would be a welcome boost for Riddle, who has struggled to make the same impact without Orton’s presence.
